I started a new game today and it seems that every bug/fish/gem/etc I found in my previous files are semi unlocked which is making museum donations a pain, however the game breaker is the fact I am not receiving any Alter rewards so I have no recycler or the sugarcane seeds and now see no point in continuing.

Hi there, I believe the bug was caused by having the older save file still there, after deleting and reloading the game everything was working and I got my rewards. I am not sure what version the previous save file was but it was quite old and it was my experimental save file to test how things worked. Thank you for getting back to me though and I apologise for taking so long to respond, I hope this explanation will also be helpful for you guys as a team in case someone else has similar issues
I did try a bunch of other standard fixes beforehand but seems deleting the save file and then reloading was my only fix, just to clarify since I droned on a bit there
