I caught a great white shark on the dock, and turned around to go straight to the museum and got caught in a Wakuu heart event cut scene while the bubble was still active. The bubble then followed me everywhere I went for the rest of the day. Going to bed until the next day didn't get rid of it either. It's still following me around.
My fishing rod is now currently being upgraded to Osmium, but as soon as I get it back, I'm going to go fishing again to see if that works to clear the bubble.

Okay, after getting my fishing rod back, all I had to do was cast it once and the bubble disappeared. Didn't even have to catch anything. But that bubble followed me around for the 4 days it took for my fishing rod to be upgraded lol
