#Chest Deleted - All Resources are...Gone

I am absolutely gutted.

Logged on today, Year 1 Day 3 of Fall and I passed out under the water and spawned in the Mermaid city house.
I teleported back to my farm to check on my crops and when I got there, my dog house which is positioned to the left of my house had shifted position. Weird.
The issue comes in that nearby, all along the front of my house, is where I keep my chests.
There used to be 4, now there are 3 and the one that is missing holds ALL of my resources.
1000's of wood and stone, ore and bars, kelp. Everything.

Is there a way to undo this?
I tried hitting the dog-house to see if it had clipped over the chest and nothing. I searched my farm, nothing. I reloaded 3 times. Nothing.

The reddit have recommended loading the day before or a few days back through my backups but I have no idea how to do that.

PS: I play on PC.

Hi , it just happened to me too my chest is gone and the resources in it are gone , please tell me there is a way to restore it.

Hi! I've gotten the same issue! I had a chest filled with my coop + barn resources sitting right next to my coop. then i upgraded my coop and went to bed when the day ended, i woke up to my chest gone 😭 even when i tried to reload the new day, it was still gone. i play on steam/pc.

edit: i've just browsed another query on a similar problem, where chests might be removed if the game thinks it's part of the building footprint. moving forward i'll take note of this, but is there any way to retrieve it tho?
