merit point earned before cutscene

Should merit points i earn from errands before the cutscene count? we get points for attending the cherry blossom festival which is before the cutscene so i feel like the errands should count as well. currently they do not

ok so i just triggered the cutscene- i have done at least 2 quests on this file- one i have video of and am grabbing the clip for

and there's me turning in 1 of the quests but i only got points for attending the cherry festival

I got 40 attending the festival, and that was all. No points for my quests. I'll do a full video file for this to show

Yes, that's right! You mentioned you had done 2 quests, and each quests gets 20 merit points and in here you had 40 point so this is correct 😉

Sorry bad wording on my part. I've never had a file give me anything but 40 points during that cutscene no matter what I have done

Hi! Just wanted to chime in to this and add that I also experienced the same thing. I had completed an errand or two and got the “delicious!” result from Judge Ross for the Cherry Blossom Potluck, all prior to the cutscene with Millie regarding Merit Points on the 12th.

I read on the Wiki that any Merit Points earned before the cutscene would be added retroactively, but unfortunately still only had received 40 merit points instead of close to 400. 😦

Definitely woulda spent less time trying to tackle the sack race or growing quality crops if I had known the Merit Points woulda been a waste, haha. Appreciate your work on this! 🖤
