Hey everyone! I was just wondering since the Merfolk romance is almost here if I would have to start a new save file and start all over. Is there a way for me to keep my progress but re-marry? Or start a new file and keep my island/farm progress?

V1.1 is going into beta testing on May 20th. It won't be fully released until a few months or so later but we don't have a specific date since it depends how many bugs will have to be tweaked and fixed to make the code work smoothly for official release.

You are welcome to ask for some save files from others that are New Game+ to start with funds if you don't want to have to grind though. I can't remember where I put that info myself. 😦

There are other save files in the discord I just can't find where. Otherwise I'll tag @digital trail cuz I know the encyclopedia has some info on this somewhere. XD

As a heads up: the beta test, being a test, is considered a separate branch. You can't play your main save on it. It's so it's a clean file to test out bugs. So in this specific case, if you wanted to try the Merfolk romance in the beta, you would have to start new.
When v1.1 fully drops, we'll have to see what the devs say
