Floor decoration disappearing

I'm on PC windows 10 with Coral Island on Steam.
I was at the dock on a rainy day when I heard the horn. I went down and saw (his name) get out of the boat before he disappeared. I went up to the sign and interected with the bin and got a decoration.
The decoration was a small teal circle with a orange coral island symbol. It said floor decoration 20 and I thought it was normal. I went back home and placed it on the floor just for it to completely disappear.
So I opened the decor mode and I can pick it up while it's invisible but placing it down doesn't change anything.

So I've been trying to follow these instructions to find the save file but I'm very confused with it. I've only ever gone in-depth on mac so I'm not used to doing it on PC. Can you give me some more detailed instructions?

Like am I going on steam - coral island - manage - browse local files or somewhere else?

So first you can open your folder/windows explorer, under "This PC" on the left, there should be "Windows C:" or just "C:", click there until you see a bunch of folders. Then, you need to click (open or go into) the folders consecutively, following this order:

1. Users
2. Your PC name/username
3. AppData (sometimes this folder is hidden, so you need to unhide them first)
4. Local
5. ProjectCoral
6. Saved
7. SaveGames

You can zip all the SaveGames folder and drag them here! 😊
