When the month changes, trees with Tap cannot be collected.
NOTE: Weather icon bugged.

It's not really a bug. You aren't meant to put taps on trees outside the farm. When the month changes, the trees despawn and respawn, causing the tap to no longer be attached to anything. If you cut down the tree the tap floats because it wasn't actually attached. Just make sure to use the trees on your own farm and you won't have any issues. Or if you really want to use the trees in town, remove them before the end of the month.

Not that I know of. Sometimes they will disappear at the next season change. If you are on PC you can try to roll back a couple days and remove them all before the end of the season
