I just started playing this game a couple days ago, and I already love it, but now I’m getting a bit overwhelmed. I have so many quests to do and not enough time to do them, or I run out of energy quickly. And even though I’m playing at 50% game speed, I’m at the point where I feel I have to devote just one day for every menial task. Can anyone suggest ways on how I can better manage my time or conserve my energy so I don’t go on wasting day after day?

There are no time limits for a start so quests will get done when they get done. Sam’s veg and fruit quest will likely take you into summer when more fruits are available. The Pickstarter will take 3 in game weeks. You do not have to complete the game in a year.

Kicking/shaking trees will give you seeds which you can use to make candied seeds. You can also find caches of these around the island in little stone chests. ||One in the forest, one near the lake, and one across the bridge near the stairs at the beach. ||

Once you unlock the hot springs you can use them to gain energy too. You unlock them by completing donations at the temple. Concentrate on completing the spring and resources offerings on the first altar.

Keep your farm small to start with. Then you can use more energy on the ocean or mining each day.

Pick up everything you see as you explore the map. Sell them or eat them for energy.

Only clear your farm to waste your left over energy at the end of the day. Or use one day a week to clear it.

I have 100s of hours in this game and haven’t even totally finished one save yet. (I have 3 on the go right now and had 3 in Early Access). It’s a marathon not a sprint.
