There is no best spot. There are specific spots where you can only catch specific fish, but you need to upgrade your fishing rod. You also get more trash in the beginning before you clean up the ocean
Put fishing on the back burner at the very start of the game
Yeah?
Well no wonder 😂
first of all, the game wouldn't let you catch any other fish if you didn't even reel the trash up.
second of all, did you do the max level swing?
third of all, have you tried to restart the game?
I never did the max swing, does that work fairly often?
https://coral.guide/journal/caught/fish everything you need to know : fish, bug critter locations . Defo upgrade you fishing rod ...otherwise legendary and hard fishes will be impossible to catch .:)
With getting more fish, when your rod shows that it has something on the line, if you start to pull it & it’s normal the line doesn’t have any fish on it. If the line is tugged or you see the squiggle lines as you pull the line in then a fish/shrimp/whatever will be on it!
You need fishing bait 😊
fishing bait is optional. i have tried fishing hammerhead but not even once i caught it. even with large fishing bait.
in the description is only add 25% chance to getting large fish.
and at that time. the large fish there is only hammerhead. and didn't even once i get it
I noticed that, I just can’t seem to hold to reel it in
If you right click I believe that holds the reel and left click releases the line. Also, if your not using a mouse it’s almost impossible to use (from experience lol)
I have been using a mouse lol
Haha yeah then it should be a right click to actually reel in a fish otherwise it’ll release it!
I always left clicked and held to reel in a fish, thanks!
I tried. Right click just cuts the line, left click reels it in. I don’t understand
What am I doing wrong?
I’m not sure. Possibly a bug on yours. Sometimes I have to restart my whole computer to get everything to refresh & act normal again
You have to release the button (not cut the line) when the fish struggles, then reel again when it stops struggling
Okay, I’ll try it
Fingers crossed
