My Screen were Stuck when decorating my Home. Task Manager using all Memory Space

what i'm doing is changing the flooring access home storage at the end of the day. when checking the task manager, it seems it used up all my memory space although i do open other app such as Discord, Steam, Microsoft Edge.

i actually don't know what the cause. for coral island to use a huge amount of memory that cause the screen were stuck. any idea. if i load the game now and decorate the house seems don't have any problem.

does the graphic setting also one of the cause?

Yes, if you're having this kind of issue, you can try to close all the apps except for the game. You can also try to lower your graphic setting to low or medium 🙂

due to this, i think this will affect the spec requirement. let me try to conclude.

graphic is on Ultra Settings

my PC spec atm
ryzen 5 5600
ram 32gb 2x16gb ddr4
rtx 3060 vram 12GB

the game was installed on
ssd nvme pcie3x4 1TB

my current problem:
high usage of RAM makes the screen stuck at certain point
the cause might be

• the Automation i installed in shed, farm, barn and greenhouse
• graphic settings set too high
• other apps intervention

i might monitor the task manager tonight. while playing the game.

i don't know yet. yesterday is like doing daily activity, foraging, collecting trash from auto trash collector, gifting npc, fishing. like i do it 5 days. and then i started to want to decorate the interior. i put my stuff in checking how fit it is. then this happen.

it stuck, unmovable. more like hang. i can still alt+tab. opening discord and task manager. i also see the hwinfo to see if its the cpu problem since this is my newly bought pc.

so i almost finish putting the auto trash collector on every corner of diving map..

I see. There have been decor bugs recently reported by others, and the teams are working on it now. Maybe they could be one of the reason your game stuck 😮 do you remember what item you were clicking before the screen got stuck?

a couple of time.

like i wanna see is bauhaus flooring good or baroque one good. then i tried to open house storage then this happen

press P click on house storage then i feel weird my mouse stuck i press windows and open the task manager. and boom. memory usage 25gb.

yeah, if talking about decorating bug, yesterday i happen to notice. if you pick up item in decorating mode. and then press finish. the item will be removed completely.

They might have anything to do with the duration of your playtime. You mentioned before you played for like 5 in-game days before the "stuck" issue happened 🙂

what i would see so far is, everytime i skipped day. the memory usage also increase. also the day when the auto sfh works, give a huge lag.

i haven't tried to reduce graphical settings yet.

but the increase also not much.. like only 0-1% like sometimes increase sometimes not.
