This is a question for PC players. I really wanna play Coral Island however I’m not sure how long it’ll be before it comes out on switch or how patient I’ll be until then. I think the only way I’ll get to play it handheld now is if I use the Game Pass/Cloud Gaming for Xbox on my phone. So my question is, should I bite the bullet and get it on PC anyway, or should I get the game pass for Xbox Cloud Gaming on my phone? Which is better in the long run?

Buy the PC Steam version if your computer specs meet the requirements
For all I know, it does. The only other game I play on PC is The Sims 4. And this computer is relatively new since I got it for Christmas.
You can look up the specs on your computer and compare them to the requirements
Thanks
@earnest echo game pass app will tell you it will run great if your specs meet it. I would not use cloud since it's still in beta and still has issues. I play on PC game pass and steam but you have to buy it for steam. I will say I personally like steam since it gets updates/hotfixes faster because Microsoft doesn't like to push hotfixes for coral. I even cross play my save on Xbox from PC gamepass.
I play it on an Intel i7700 with a GTX 1070 and it runs just fine, think it's about 10 odd years old
So you run cloud not installed on your PC? @lyric rune
Nope, it's installed on my PC and runs perfectly fine... It's installed on a normal hard drive so the only thing that happens is that it's a bit slow when it loads up.. but apart from that it runs fine.
How were you able to tell if it could run properly?
As @novel thunder shared with you, these are the minimum specs you need. If your computer has higher than that it will run.
Or, take advantage of Steams return feature. Buy it and if it doesn’t run return it.
If this is a brand new Asus then your probably in the clear
Installed it, and ran it... If it weas jittery then it wouldnt run.....
I now run it on a minisforum PC (https://store.minisforum.uk/products/minisforum-um780xtx?variant=46924417204502) and as it's got SSD's it runs faster when i enter places like the Museum or ocean
Checking in since we were chatting in coral general about this too. 🙂 how's the game working out for you?
