This is pretty much always related to your graphics settings. What graphics card do you have?

#

can you see them again if you turn your graphics settings up or down?

primal vigil
#

Let me take a look.

if you have a good grapics card, try turning the settings up, if you have an integrated graphics card or one on the older side, try turning the graphics down

I have an Intel(R) Iris(R) Plus Graphics card. I turned the Graphics up to Medium, and the stone paths show up.

that's not really specific enough to look up, unfortunately, that's like saying 'i have a ford'. but if turning the graphics up helped, then most likely it's a good enough card to run the game

I'm not sure how to find the information you'd like. I googled how to find my graphics card, and that's the information I received.

sweet warren
#

no worries! the best way is to go to your device manager, it will be listed there

primal vigil
#

That's what I did.

sweet warren
#

like that

primal vigil
#

That's where I looked.

sweet warren
#

and it didn't give you the actual model? that's really weird

primal vigil
#

I assumed Iris Plus was the model.

sweet warren
#

that's so weird1 I've never seen it listed like that. but at least it seems your issue is sorted 😅

It definitely was. I mostly treat the bug reports as information sharing anyway. I've had the game since Early Access, so I'm mostly sharing in case there's anything I encounter that you guys didn't know about or want to check out.

#

Op, I went back to look at my Amazon order from when I got the computer, and I think I found something more specific: ‎Intel® IrisTM Plus Graphics 640 (i7). Does that help?

sweet warren
#

yeah! that's what I need. one mo

#

ok, that does come up as in integrated graphics card, so you might run into some issues with poor graphics or even the game not loading past the seizure warning screen in the future. it also looks like that graphics card was made around 2017, so it is getting to be on the older side

That's why I put the graphic on Low originally, as well. The mines can get a bit choppy, even on Low, but that's the sacrifice you make sometimes.

sweet warren
#

yeah, you might start to see some issues if you really fill up your farmland, or issues at festivals where there's a lot of characters moving around. but I get that - you gotta do the best you can with what you've got

Just a quick update: I put the graphics back on Low because I wanted the game to run more smoothly (and I wasn't picking up seagrass for some reason, though it may just have been really bad RNG), and in unlocking and placing down wood floor tiles, I realised they do show up. So this is only a problem with the stone path when Graphic settings are on Low.
