PS5 Trophies are Bugged | Stairway Games | Page 1

I began playing PS5 upon release and have a lot of hours put into the game. At the time, several had issues like the B.O.S Finest, Multi-level Gifting and Chef de Cuisine.
After a long hiatus, I wanted to try the trophies again with the latest update to consoles.

I tried the B.O.S Finest "Slay all enemy types". I checked the Beastiary Journal and defeated all enemies again. I made sure each enemy was slayed at least five times and the trophy has not popped. I was asking some friends if they had any difficulties, and they told me yes they too were bugged but on xbox. Checked online and some say that to have the trophy pop, you need a completely new save file. I have over 150 hours, this has to be a bug right?

Hi @frozen coral. Thanks for sending us a report! You can trigger B.O.S Finest right away if you have a new save file, but don't worry! The teams are working to fix the issue so it can be triggered in the older save file as well 😉

As for the Multi-level Gifting and Chef de Cuisine, can you share more info about it? 🙂

Of course! So the multi level gifting does not trigger. I've lifted every giant. Every member in my town but it does not allow me to gift mermaids

I've tried repeating the process but it seems it's not working no matter what day I use

Chef de cuisine also does not trigger. I thought the issue was a bug with caterpillar ingredient. It was misspelled on the game as caterpilar or some other variations, so the only way to make the item was to manually make it but after making every recipie, it would not trigger

Also.. it's fantastic you guys are working on it. I LOVE the game. Purchased the beta on steam and on console. I can only imagine how busy it's been, but could I have a rough estimate of how long until a fix is found? A few weeks? A month? Several months? Just so I can have an idea to see if I should start a new file or wait it out

PS5 here!

"Multi-level Gifting" appeared to me.

"B.O.S Finest" didn't work.
"Chef de Cuisine" I didn't even try, I already knew it was bugged.
Also, "Operation Trophy Rancher" and "Stylemaker" didn't pop as well.

Have you shipped one of every geode? I know I forgot to add that part in. I know it's a slog, and I'm sorry, but it is definitely possible. I took a 4-5 day break away from Coral when I thought I had everything, but didn't. it's totally valid to be discouraged and need a break.

The hard truth is they're still figuring out how to sync those trophies and make sure everything pops.

Last question, did the badge pop in the Journal, and the achievement isn't unlocking, or is that missing as well?

But to answer your fears, yes, that's exactly what you have to do. If you completed your museum/shipping endeavors prior to the 1.0 Release in November, you do have to re-ship absolutely everything. That's the reason I put the spreadsheet together. It's not cool, I agree.

Take a day or two away from the game and you'll get hungry for that hardware, promise. 🙂 As a former Plat-chaser (having basically just adjusted to Steam Achievements instead), I know exactly how it feels. It's aggravating affffff.

But it can be done. One tab down, work through the Caught tab and hopefully there's just that one sneaky little spider that didn't get shipped since 1.0, know what I mean? That's what happened to me - the last missing piece was a Great White Shark.

No, but to your point earlier about finding the animals and treasures, you said you donated them to the museum - that doesn't count as shipping, unfortunately. If you were grinding for one Green Sawfish and only caught one Green Sawfish bc it had to be donated to the museum, and then never shipped one... Yeah, you've gotta catch another and ship it. Basically you need two of everything the museum asks for, one for donating, one for shipping.

Keep the faith! Try to have some fun in the meantime! Grow a billion coffee beans or redesign your farm while you wait for the right time of day to catch certain fish, so on and so forth.

Don't worry, that feedback has been repeated to the team ad nauseam! I'm serious, if you type Shipped in the Coral Feedback section, there's over 200 results. They know it's not popular to not have such a feature - again, why I made the spreadsheet 🤣

But you've got all the tools, now you just need to take a step back, play another game for a minute and enjoy yourself before returning to that grind. You can do it!

I did not. But yes, the crafting menu does have some crafting recipes that are not required to unlock the trophy/achievement. I believe they were kickstarter rewards that just sit there, menacingly. Once you get all the merit point scarecrows and level all skills to 10, plus buy all the scarecrow recipes from CA (aside from Monster scarecrow), you should be able to craft everything.

The way I accomplished it was going category by category and starting from the bottom of the category, going up, instead of using the All tab, that made it way easier to track what I'd done and not done. it wouldn't be too hard to make a spreadsheet if you'd like one, but it wouldn't be til tonight

I feel you, I'm at 50/51 bc CI Sweetheart hasn't popped, but it's marked as complete in the journal. In any case! It'll get fixed someday but for now if you want it, you gotta go a little extra!

For the DIY Expert, all you need to do is Unloack All Crafting Recipes including Scarecrow that you can buy in Merit Shop

No no just unlock all crafting recipes. You don't need to craft it
