As shown in the picture, the snow disappears from the ground when using the architect desk. Entering and exiting a building (I went to the Carpenter's afterwards) fixes it.
In the right-hand top corner you'll find the date: Winter, Saturday 6.
How to replicate: When in Winter, use the architect desk to open the moving setting. Then, get out of the moving settings, and the snow has disappeared from the ground, but not from decoration around the island.
