Rare fishes

Is there a way to increase the odds of fishing rare fishes ? Kind of buff or something. It's been 15 days I'm trying to fish an Asian sheepshead and I just can't find one...

Bait is really the only thing. So you increase your chance of a fish that size and thus increasing the fish chance you need

Here's what I would do

Medium bait
Fish right to the left of the farm
If the fish I catch is not swimming in a circle, cut the line and move on

Should. Use 4 or 5 for cast length. Decreases small spawn rate

Make sure you are in the right season and the right place. They spawn in winter to the left of the farm. Fish from the bottom of the stairs to the farm and you will get some.
