So I started playing coral island again about 10days ago, after not having played it since Christmas.
When I last played, I had no problems with crashing (at that time I played on a PS5)
Since I started playing again last week (now on a different PS5 model, the slim version PS5), it has been crashing quite often.
I have downloaded all available updates.
I noticed most of it happens whenever I put things in my chests or organise them after the contents of the chests got a bit mixed up. (I have also named all of my chests)for example it also happened once when coming home after a day of mining, when I wanted to put the loot away before sleeping. It then crashed as I wanted to close the chest)
To test this out the day before yesterday I tried organising all of my chests in order to see whether it was them. I only organised chests and did no other activities except petting my dog Bode.
After about half an hour the game crashed.
I tried it again and it crashed once more.
After one more attempt I decided to skip the day I was on, to see if the day was the problem.
However it still crashed.
Yesterday I took a different approach to it. First I set the game time back to 100% (since before it was 50%) and started organising it throughout different game days. On the first day I organised the foraged things and went to bed at about 9am game time in order to save the organising progress. I did that again the next day. Then on the third day it crashed again while organising chests.
It also crashes randomly at times when I’m on my way home and approaching the house, but that only happens semi rarely (about 1-2 times every 8hrs of gameplay)while the activity of only organising chests causes it to crash sofar every time (since I reached year 2, before that I never really had to organise bc I hadn’t started crops/ranching properly) when I try to organise them all.
If there is anymore information you need/approaches you’d like me to test out let me know
Thank you for all that you do!
