#Most Tools Disabled on Plot

Hi there! I've been trying to play Coral Island for a couple months (lost track of how long it's been) but to no avail. Got a few days into my first playthrough, life got busy, and I returned to the game only to have forgotten how to play. No big deal, I restarted on a new save, knowing I didn't have much progress anyways.

However, in every single save going forward, I haven't been able to use my tools on my plot, nor use certain tools such as the watering can, net, or fishing rod around the map. I thought maybe it was the tutorial pop-up that was making it unable to play, so I tried disabling and restarting: still nothing. Tried skipping the cutscene, updating the game (current version is most up to date), and even uninstalled and reinstalled at one point- nothing has worked.
That being said, because this is on my machine and I haven't seen it come up with anyone, and I have no clue what's causing it, I'm not sure if it's even a bug (hence why I haven't reached out sooner).

I was waiting for this game to come out back when it was in the coming-soon phase on Steam... I just really wanna play it after waiting for so long 😅

Hi there @shadow flax. Thanks for sending us a report!
Have you tried to verify the integrity of game files to see if it would resolve? You can do that by right-clicking the game on your Steam library, click properties, then installed, and verify integrity of game files 🙂

If the issue still hasn't been resolved, can you send us your save file so our team can take a closer look? You can access it under this file path: C:\Users\ <username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames and send it here 🙂

PS: Just a heads up, our studio is off today until April 15th, so there might be some delay in responding to the report. I will log this into our system and follow up on any information when we return to the office!

Hi there! Thanks for the suggestion, I hadn't thought of trying to verify the game files! I'll try that asap. :D

No worries on the delay! I'm a university student myself, so there's no shortage of other activities (obligations, more like) to keep me busy and distracted, haha! Enjoy your break! Thanks again!

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the verifying did the trick. Still unable to use any tools in the plot while in clost proximity to some assets. (If I'm within swinging range of a stone, I can't swing at or around it, no matter the tool or direction.) Sorry about the trouble!

Hello! That's completely okay! Thank you for taking a look at it at all! I had unfortunately just shut down my set up for tonight (it's 4:30am here) but will send that screen shot as soon as I can tomorrow (Tuesday)! :)

From the screenshots you sent me, I noticed you have the "interact" button and the "use tool/place item" button using the same left-button mouse. Kindly change it to this setting (the attached image), and you can play normally again! 🙂

Ah! Thank you so much! I didn't even think to check the individual key binds, since I never messed with the ones set to the mouse. (I must've clicked it by mistake one day!)
