silver arowana not showing up in caught list ?

I was just going through the fish and which ones I still need to catch, and I saw that silver arowana is not showing up as caught, but I've donated one to the museum and the temple. Is this a known bug?

Hi, I'm adding to this because both of my characters had or have this problem. My main one kept showing that cod wasn't caught, even though it had been donated & I had some in a chest. When I completed all fish, though, it suddenly showed up as caught. My second character currently shows both cod and catfish as not caught, yet again, both have been donated and there are some in a chest.

Forgot to add: I'm on Steam/PC using keyboard/mouse and I'm on the latest/greatest patch, although my main character finished the fish under .946. thanks!

I had the same thing happen with my bluegill on XBOX gamepass. It was showing blank but when I caught it it already said donated.

Did you get it from a trash can? Because that’s how I got my bluegill to donate. I didn’t actually catch one until the next summer.

@quiet jewel I'm on PC. I realized after I posted that maybe I hadn't actually caught the arowana, because I found them in trash bins. 😅

Sorry for the delay. I don't have video but I can show you screenshots. The first is what I see in my "journal" for caught fish. There are 3 fish missing that I've caught: Cod, Catfish, and Black Phantom Ghost Fish. The second is the inside of a chest where I have some of those fish.

I had the same issue, but I assumed it was because they were fish I frequently found in the trash and didn't actually catch them myself. The silver arowana was one that was showing up as not caught even though I donated it, but after catching one it did show up as caught.

Do you remember when and where you caught those three fish? Also, can you share your save file with us? You can access it under this file path: C:\Users\ <username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames and send it here 🙂

Those are all common fish you get out of garbage cans. Are you SURE you caught them, and didn't just find them?

It's possible for the black phantom but there are a pile of cod & catfish, and I'm sure I've caught them. Also, like I said, this happened with my other account but once I had all the fishies caught, it suddenly decided I had them all.

However, I'm gonna go catch some now and see if they suddenly appear as "caught".
