Started the day in summer, did the beach cleanup party, bought clothing and farm decor, played at least 4 in game days saving every time I sleep. The last time I went to sleep was in fall and the game crashed to desktop, when I relaunched the time stayed as it was when I crashed, but reverted everything I did, so none of the items i bought and placed stayed also the money i spent is gone but the items are also.
I even got the achievement for style maker for buying 10 clothing items that I no longer have because the game reverted but also kept the time advanced.
This game needs to be able to save at any point, this was the reason I stopped playing last year. The game for me anyway ALWAYS crashed when sleeping, while not saving progress. This could be easily avoided but adding a quick save feature. Idk why that creative decision was made but it needs to be changed at least until this is no longer an issue.
