Weather isn't changing

I'm on Spring Year 3 and trying to. Catch a gator gar (I know, I know, I'm a casual player though)
I have only had ONE rainy day, I'm now on Spring 22 and still no rainy days after spring 2. I'm gonna have to wait another whole year to catch this fish🥺🥺 is there a glitch or bug I'm not aware of? Is this happening to anyone else?
