No matter what I put into the aging barrel, it seems ot take twice as long as it says it does to make anything. Sake takes well over 4 days to age. I have had a sake in there since day 24 and it is now day 3 of the next season and it still isn't finished. HAve they doubled the aging time?

it must be constant then. Its day 5 for five now and it still isn't finished but its slowly moving forward its just taking 3 times as long
at this point, I dont want to put anything in the aging barrel cause It takes nearly all season to get anything out of it

Do note that it is relative to quality as well. But I might suggest trying a restart just in case.

restart the game, or jsut the session. If just the session I have restarted many times, it doesnt speed things up at all

that doesn't work. the only thing that does is annoy me, but it doesnt speed up the aging barrel. Im just not going ot be able to use that aspect of the game it seems.
