Redesigning Building Deleted my Chest

I Redesigned my coop and the chest that was next to it (outside) disappeared

im kind of mad because I was storing my duck and chicken eggs in that chest. Now they ALL gone

Yeah, that’s a known issue. Don’t keep your chests in there or directly outside of it. Keep. Beats a little further away from animal building

Also be wary of machines and chests in the shed. If you ever move it you have to take everything out first

oh, ok thank you. At least they KNOW its a problem. I am not happy about it for sure. I am still levelling my chicken and ducks and was saving up their eggs for mayo and cooking. I also had some amaranth plants in there for the mill so that ruined that. I wish they would solve these bugs

You could try loading an earlier save before the update

I could, yes. but I did so much since then, I just dont want to repeat myself. I will take the L and move on with better preparation in the future 🙂

this would all be resolved if we could choose the style when having it built like with the houses. It would also save us 1000c

I had the same issues with my chest with my collection of iridium star stuff 🥲🥲🥲
I moved my pet house outside and it deleted 2 chests nearby. I play on Xbox series s

I used the architect desk and move the outside pethouse, like literally only 2 steps because I wanted to test the new feature

Can you send us your backup save file? You can access it under this file path: C:\Users\ <username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames\Backup and send them all here 🙂

As I wrote in my earlier message I'm on Xbox series s. Not sure if I can access backups there. It was on year 2 summer 11 / 12 since I only noticed a day later, so I'm not sure if they immediately vanished or only on the next day
