Re-reporting upon request since I sent this one right before the old channel got deleted.
I wanted to switch all the actions from the default between X and B buttons because I'm used to A and B being my main gameplay buttons instead of A and X.
Everything seems to be working correctly for me with this remap, except for fishing.
On the screenshot I've attached, you can see that the tooltip display seems to recognize the remap: it says "B: Hold to reel fish in, X: Cut fishing line".
However, in fact, both X and B buttons cut the fishing line for me, so fishing becomes broken after the remap. 100% reproducible, I've tried many times and triple-checked that I did, in fact, remap "Cut fishing line" to X in my settings.
Reproduction steps:
- Connect the controller.
- Go to Settings -> Controller.
- From the default Modern layout, remap the following:
B -> X: Dismount, Cut fishing line, Deselect item
X -> B: Use tool/place item, Secondary action, Skip event, Toggle grid, Minigame attack - Save and close Settings.
- Go to the nearest body of water, equip the rod and hold B to start fishing.
- Wait until the fish bites, observe the tooltip at the bottom of the screen showing that the B button is supposed to reel the fish in.
- Click B. Observe that the fishing line has been cut instead of reeling.
