Hello. I was about to harvest a tap for Resin, but when clicking right click, I was only able to shake the tree and unable to harvest it.
I tried to remove tap by using the Axe, but as you can see, the tree was cut down yet the tap remained.
Playing on Steam/PC.
Day was Fall/Thurs 4 at around 17:00.
Now I'm just scared it's permanently stuck there.

The trees despawn and respawn at the start of each season. When that happens, the tap technically is no longer 'attached' to a tree. So when you cut the tree down, the tap stayed where it was.
You aren't meant to put taps on trees not on your farm. If you do, make sure you remove them before the end of a season.

Oh that's unfortunate. I was using external trees because I haven't quite decided on the layout yet.

If it helps, you'll eventually get an item that allows you to move anything on your farm, even crops or trees. So you don't have to stress too hard right now about where you eventually want everything to be.
