#Game simply crashes when clicking (Steam)

I loved the game so much that i decided to get it on steam as before I only played on xbox live, and while i never had a single crash on xbox, im on day 4 of spring and crashed 3 times already on Steam. There really seems to be no steps to reproduce besides clicking with the mouse.
The first time was during dialogue, the second time was while chopping a tree and the last time was fishing. I play the game at half speed so loosing entire days of progress is extremely enraging after trying to talk to everybody the maximum amount of times per day.

I'd love to send a crash report, but unfortunately, nothing pops up when the game crashes. It simply closes.

I've tried reducing fps, reducing graphics, changing the type of window from borderless to windowed, nothing works and I'm sick of working hard the whole day for it to just crash at the end.

Doesn't hurt to double check

The Steam PC version is the most stable version so it's unusual for your game to be crashing that much

Have you done a reinstall? Maybe a file got corrupted somewhere during installation

no i haven't reinstalled since i litterally just finished installing the game today x'D

I'd uninstall/reinstall and reboot your computer

I can navigate you to the daily save and crash file paths if it still happens after you do that

Those files will make it easier for the devs to review the issue

If you are still experiencing crashes after reinstalling the game, can you try to verify the integrity of the game files? You can do that by right-clicking the game on Steam Library and click the properties, installed files, then verify integrity of game files 🙂

I did 1 full day without any problem, then went fishing around 7 pm and the game just crashed again 😢

so its now the second time this specific bug happens when fishing

i was fishing at the pier near the diving area, where wataru fishes too

Any specific fishing locations or just any time you fish?

well i only fish at the pier by wataru or in the farm to the right there's a pong kinda thing midway down

but those 2 places have crashed me

unless its a specific fish that's crashing me maybe>??

Have you tried the other fishing locations? Dpes the crash happen when the fish hooks your line, when you're trying to reel it in, or after you catch the fish?

I played 2 hours today without being able to reproduce the bug (im also very limited on stamina at this point of the game so i can't fish much and dont want to wasted my savefile on trying to record a bug)

im on day 12 now and all i know is day 4 of spring was the buggiest day, needing to re-do it 4 times
