Help with identifying if my PC can play this game

I was able to play this game about a month ago. maybe less. Now it won't let me

I looked at the post and I thought my pc fit all of the specs

Are you playing on Steam or Gamepass? Are you getting a crash log when you try to play?

Are you using an integrated graphics card?

I am playing on game pass the pc version. It says out of video memory. but I can play palia and ddv on here... so i find that hard to believe. This is the only game giving me that message. and nope no intergrated graphics card.

i turned my graphics all the way down to low

It only happened after this recent update and the out of video memory only pops up from xbox app. its not coming from my actual pc

Does it give you an actual crash report that you might be able to share on this post?

this is the only game that's giving me this message and i'm not understanding how. ddv doesn't give me this message and neither does palia. 😢

My smart monitor will play this game, but it is BLURRY lol. due to it being strictly cloud gaming lol

@lapis marlin does xbox PC app say that the game should run great when you look at it in the library page?

It's never said that for any of the games that I've played, but I have been able to play this game via xbox pc app before this update just fine so im not sure that is the actual issue.

I'll just have to wait and see what she says once she looks over all that I have submitted

Do you have any other apps that are eating ram in the background? My PC isn't the best but it says I can run coral great. It also says I can run Ark Survival Evolved great but I know that is a lie.

hmmm discord? eh not really. i did the task manager thing to see the other night and i didn't see anything messing it up

@lapis marlin do you have EA on your PC? Some people have had issues with it running in the background and eating up ram. I run coral, discord, and internet explorer when I play. I do deal with lag but I have coral on high graphics. I'm also running on a mobile Hotspot when I play. I also have more ram so that plays a huge difference in it.

no I don't have ea on here. I can play it on the cloud. But i don't like the fuzz. I was hoping to download and play it like i do with ddv and palia

@lapis marlin cloud may be your issue. Cloud is in beta and has issues. The only other thing I seen in your specs that might be your issue is ram so if you could upgrade it it would help a lot.

possibly. but i think for now i will have to stick to the cloud. I haven't gotten that far into this game to upgrade for it. every other game works fine for me. i will just have to play it on the cloud with the issues and all lol. at least it won't keep me from getting in the game lol

Lol. The ram is normally pretty easy to upgrade. I did it on my old laptop but try downloading the game and not playing through cloud. I play palia also and don't have any issues. My BF plays Arma 3 on our PC without any big issues but only after we upgraded the graphics card.

I downloaded it from pc pass. That's what gives me that message. The cloud is the only way I can play it

Maybe. I'm new to the game so Idk if it is worth upgrading for. I played it since it was free with my pass lol. I need to play more to see if I love it that much lol.

@lapis marlin I've been playing since it came to PC game pass then I bought it on steam. I love this game. I had over 300 hours before 1.0.

My controller to play it on the cloud from my pc instead of my smart monitor comes tomorrow. If I love it enough I will definitely update. I hear great things about it.

It's a great game. If you can get it on steam it's the best idea as PC game pass was 6 or 7 hotfixes behind steam in beta.

Steam gets hotfixes faster.

I will definitely keep that in mind. Told my husband he will be upgrading my pc for me lol. Might go ahead and do the gpu too.

Thanks for sharing the info with us! May I ask if you are opening other apps when playing the game? If you only playing the game without opening anything, can it be open? 😮

No other apps are running while I did it. I tried it with all things off and even deleted palia and ddv. It will allow me to create character but once I go to play it loads to 100 and then gives me that message
