I gave the locket to Rafael and his dialogue hasn't changed at all. In fact, at times he treats me like a stranger. I have completed his heart events except for 10th heart event. Will he have more romantic dialogue after I do the 10th heart event? Is this a bug or is it just his character?

The already implemented the romantic dialogue. I’ve not really seen a difference with Raf so either his didn’t take or he’s just like that

I hadn't been keeping up on the updates of late. I'm pretty sure it's because he's super shy and won't just come out with it. I mean...give him his favorite food and he gets all tongue twisted.

I would love to know the answer to that honestly. Kinda hoping he is so that eventually he'll get cute couple dialogue. I'm fine if he doesn't though. I know he is shy boy.

Apparently he's really sweet as a husband
And I've gotten a couple of cute lines of dialogue in the boyfriend stage but not as much as other characters after they put it in one of the hotfixes

I'm dating half the NPCs, Theo is my favorite and def going to marry him. Second is Wakuu. Then Nina, Yuri, and Noah are also great

Zarah also has great dialogue but she sometimes says things that make me feel like I could never marry her because she needs to be free to go on adventures and I can't give her that

Because as a shy (and a bit awkward) person Raf's need a bit more time to open his heart to you, so that's why not all the dialogues are lovey dovey 😄

Maybe stranger is a heavy word. He acts more like an acquaintance. If that makes sense. Which now i understand might be because of his character type. I haven't fully romanced him yet. I'm still at 8 hearts so I haven't unlocked his 10th heart event. So I still have time to truly unlock Rafael. This is my first play through so I'm still learning things about all the characters.
I think what I was hoping for after giving him the locket was that there would be that shyness from him entering in a relationship with the farmer. Instead it is as if nothing had changed.
Mostly Raf in my game talks about blacksmithing, upgrading tools, and that they only accept money as a form of payment. 😄 It's dialogues like that made me question if the locket worked for him or not but I think i might just need to get in deeper with him.
