Skipped Heart Event - What now?

I gifted Theo a present he loved for his birthday, and this added 2 hearts to our 'relationship'... because of this I skipped a heart cutscene and the one i'm meant to have now won't trigger and the one prior to it won't work either (the one where Theo asks about the piano in the community center) any ideas? ❤️

p.s: it's also worth noting that my gifts now say '3/2' and is stuck like that.

You do not skip heartscenes, they will happen eventually. Most of them do not happen on the same day.

I've tried to trigger it on a different day, but no luck and it's fall, I know i read somewhere that cutscenes aren't likely to work during winter

Only the 10 heart cutscenes are season locked for some NPCs

Which heart event are you trying to trigger? It’s impossible to skip the cut scene by accident. You have to hold down a button to skip it but that’s only to skip watching it, you still count it towards the number viewed

the third heart event, i've been in the community center when it's been sunny / windy between 12-5 and no cutscene has been triggered where theo talks about the old piano! I've now got 6 hearts, but from the third heart onward no cut scene has been triggered

ahh well the days i've tried to trigger it have been between 15-28 fall
