My game just crashed while trying to place the recycling mashine after removing it with the pickaxe. What is potentially relevant is that the reason I removed and replaced the recycling mashine with the pickaxe is that I had earlier moved it with the architect desk because I realized that the way I had connected machines to the same auto chest meant that all my scrap got turned into glass. Except the recycling machine remained connected to the same autochest despite being removed physically, so I attempted to sever the connection by removing and replacing the recycling machine with a pickaxe. This led to a crash.
