Stuck at 8 hearts

Hello, idk if this has been answered but ive got rafael to 8 hearts and have been trying to raise the hearts (i did give him the locket) but i havent been able too...Do i just keep trying to get them regularly like talking to him everyday and gifting or ? idk what to do ether way im down to grind, (also ive already done all the hearts events)

You should be able to get them by talking and gifting, but gifting him his favourites will get it there much, much faster, especially if it's his birthday

gifting higher quality presents will also help
