How do I place purchased furniture?

I was once able to place a pet bed in my house. After I took it down, I couldn't take it up. I thought it was because I had a house outside. Now I can't place any new furntiure down. It just gives me a little error down. I can place and move around any of the original furniture.

I'm not sure what you mean. I'm trying to place it, like I can with the original places of furniture but I cannot

It gives me a little error sound and just bounces back. It won't let me place it.

Try clicking the item you want to place, so its highlighted then "Hide List" i have to do it that way on the xbox as wont let me place otherwise
