Failed to open descriptor file

After updating my game i cant seem to play it anymore. When i choose the "play" button on my steam theres a pop-up message that says "failed to open descriptor file" like i attach below. I tried to restart my pc and play it again, but the same message keep on popping up. Is there anything that I sould do to solve it? Thank you!

Make sure you attach your save file and crash log so the devs can take a look at them

Save file
C:\Users<your PC name>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\SaveGames

Crash log: almost the same file path but go to Crash folder instead of Save

Hello. Thanks for reporting the issue! Can you share a video of you trying to start the game but it failed? 😮

Also, have you tried to verify the integrity of game files to see if the issue would be solved? 🙂

You can do that by clicking properties on Steam Library, then click on the installed files and verify integrity of game files 🙂
