hello, ive tried to catch the tarantula for so long and i got it to show up. However when i ate the scent and stood in front of it while it was walking to me, it changed directions while moving, right before it was in range and got scared off. this happened to me twice :<
i have my bug net upgraded to the max and was standing completely still with the bug scent.
any tips to catch it? thank you in advance

Yea the easiest way is just to put 2 traps at the beach, one by the beach shack and one by the beach fast travel point.
I did that and got one overnight.
I've never seen any actually running around.

Yup, agree with the beach. I usually get it on a trap beside the beach shack. Don't even have to use scents

i had traps all over my island and condensed them to the areas with tarantulas :< i did put one in the bug house
