I play with controller so i often don't have my keyboard nearby and would like to be able to move the mouse to my second screen without having to grab the keyboard and press windows key or alt tab, is there a way to allow this while paused or something?

Do you mean being able to pause with your controller? Maybe the “start” button will bring that up? And then playing on borderless full screen or in a window will allow you to move your mouse. (These are suggestions from my kids who game with controllers 100% more than I do 🤭)

i can pause with the controller just fine but the mouse is always locked to the game screen unless i alt tab. im on borderless

If you are not in a menu like inventory or map you can just move the mouse to the second screen and if you click on anything on the screen it will automatically pause. If you are in a menu you have to either alt tab or hit the window key.
