crashed while walking

It was day 4, 9:00am (I just bought the game) and I have the day length set to 50% and I was walking across the plaza. Wakuu was there walking by me and as I was about to talk to him the game crashed (I’m playing on the steam deck)

How high definition is your game and how old is your computer?

It was on medium settings but I had some on high like textures and such. I’m playing on my steam deck OLED 1TB model and I just got it last month.

Weird was ur computer over heating?

No it wasn’t and the fans weren’t working like their life depended on it 🤷🏽‍♂️ just a bit

Do you received any crash log after it happened? Can you please send it here?

For Steam Deck, please check 'compatdata' (file path: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata).
From there, you will see lots of folder with random number, Coral Island folder should be the one with code number '1158160'.
Enter that folder, into the pfx folder, then drive_c folder, then you can follow the file path here: Users<username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes (the .xml file) to find the crash log 🙂

i had the exact same crash today, where i talked to wakuu while walking through the plaza and crashed. i emailed my crash log and save to [e-mail]

it happens before I talk to him, the screen would freeze for a brief moment then crash.
