SAVING GAME ANY IN-GAME TIME

Will there be an option where you can save the game at anytime? Cause I’ve spent a whole day in-game decorating my farm and then crashed AGAIN at exactly 22:00 😭 I don’t wanna lose interest in this game just because of crashing. It’s always crashing please fix this as soon as possible

Hiya, just tacking on to ask: has this been officially confirmed as not happening by the devs? Because after all the crashes I keep having this piece of info might just turn me off the game completely and I did previously talk about the game to friends who might wanted to get it, but I can't recommend it to them if this is set in stone. I barely have enough time to finish a full day when I sit down before I get called away, and my friends have even less consecutive playing time available.
I'd had hoped that in 2024 player convenience wouldn't be that much of an issue anymore, especially in single player games.

I would vote wait for an actual mod or dev to confirm or deny this ever being a thing. They've apparently got a major update planned for Sometime This Year™️, so who knows.

Same answer that most likely no if we're going with the pattern of how similar games go. SDV, Harvest Moon etc, you really save by sleeping.

But who knows. Just saying don't wait for it.

RuneFactory games have a diary on a table that you could save at between bedtimes; something like that would be cool to see.

Harvest Moon and Story of Seasons, as well as Rune Factory as stated above all have a diary next to the bed and have for as long as I’ve played them which is an insanely long time. The diary itself is for saving during the day in between bedtimes in case you need to step away and don’t want to waste the rest of your day by sleeping and saving. I don’t play SDV nor have I ever tried it longer than like 10 minutes as the style of graphics wasn’t my thing but I do know HM, SoS, and RF are all able to save throughout the day.

I think the only issue I’ve seen that people have brought up in regards to having something that allows us to save throughout the day is save scumming. Which I’ve never felt the need to do on a game like this and I’m sure many would agree with me. To have a backup save to the autosave would just make it that much more secure in terms of if my game crashes and I lose another 180 hr save like I did in November. Had I been able to have a backup, it might not have been completely lost.

I've played SOSPOT. And i can save anywhere other than sleeping. I am hoping the Dev will do this also.
