switch version in 2024?

Hello, I want to know if the switch version is coming in 2024.
I didn't see it standing on the roadmap for 2024 and the blog isn't giving me any answers.
I love your game and would love to play it on the switch; because I'm more a switch person than a steam person...

Switch release isn’t on the roadmap for 2024 because there is no officially released timeline for that

The best guess the community has is that they’re waiting for all the 2024 updates to be implemented before it is released for switch

as a backer honestly it feels really bad waiting all this time seeing other people play a game i kickstarted when i cant and we still dont even have a date for the switch release

every time theres an update i look for news of the switch release and theres never anything

Thanks. I suggest adding just a quick acknowledgement that the Switch version is a WIP for every major dev update. Feels weird that I had to search "switch" on discord just to get the above reassurance. It might be helpful to keep the Kickstarter page updated once in a while too. The comments asking about the switch release there are kinda wild

I feel like 3 years in and with nothing to play, backers should have the option to swap to a different key or get a refund. Especially if the planned 2024 release isn't happening. I know there was a brief period where switching keys was possible, but it was way too easy to miss

Yeah, I would love the opportunity to change to PS5 or PC... of course Switch is my preferred platform which is why that was my selection but it really sucks knowing that the game has been out for a while now and I still can't play it.

We shouldn't have to go searching through the discord for a crumb of an answer. Like they could've easily said "hey were still working on switch too" onto an update

I get it, it's a lot of work, sure. But if I knew that the Switch version would take so much time I wouldn't have bought a key.

The lack of news is frustrating especially for those that backed this game 3 years ago !

And we can't even change our keys to pc / PS5 / Xbox anymore! There is a huge lack of communication about Switch release and it was really easy to miss the opportunity to change the key !

So now new players can play a game we backed 3 years ago and helped becoming alive. That's not cool !

I believe backers were given an opportunity last year for a specific period of time to switch their keys to an alternative platform. You could try emailing them and asking if they would consider it now for you but they may say no
