Wild Seeds & Upgrades?

Hey! Do seed upgrades from the lab apply to wild seeds? Not sure if I should use my fertilizer or them or not. Thanks!

I haven’t noticed that they do get upgraded so I use fertilizer on them anyway. Especially if I’m planting for tea in winter and need bronze.
