I was just playing and my game crashed, nothing out of the ordinary. Usually every few days of playing my game will crash and I just have to restart the day. Well, today I get on and I had just finished the beach cleanup on summer day 27 year 2 and I went to sleep and then the game crashed while I was sleeping. I load the game back up and my entire save is completely gone. Nothing is there and it just tells me to create a new game. I am so livid. I have spent so much time on this game for everything to just be deleted. I have put almost 96 hours into this game and I am devastated right now. I honestly am thinking about deleting and never playing again. This is just ridiculous.

I quit playing because I was nervous of this happening due to seeing all of the reports like this, and my game crashing almost once per game day. I want to start again but I won’t risk losing my game file. I’m SO sorry this happened to you. It’s been happening to others too for nearly 4 months with no fix. Let me guess - Xbox S?
And what’s REALLY frustrating is seeing the devs. work on enhancements when they should be spending 100% of their time fixing these game-breaking crashes and bugs. The game will never be successful long term with MAJOR issues like this.

I agree, like people are spending REAL money on this game and investing their time into it. And all they’re worried about now is making new outfits and less important things than making sure the game is actually playable. I could deal with the crashing and having to restart the day, but this, it’s just unacceptable

I get your frustrated but you also need to be reasonable in your expectations of them getting back to you about this crash report

It happened to me the day I reported it. I decided to search the past reports as they tell you to do and have seen this has gone on for months and they haven’t done anything to fix it. I get it, it hasn’t happened to you so you have no reason to be as frustrated as I am. I am upset because this shouldn’t happen, this should’ve been an early fix BEFORE they worked on other aspects of the game. I continued searching on other platforms for people this has happened to. And it has happened to other people up to a year ago. So I feel like regardless of it being the weekend or not, the devs have had MORE than enough time to look at, and address these issues. So I don’t think I’m being unreasonable at all. Imagine if your current save you are playing just deleted and all of your work is gone and money wasted for no reason…

My point still stands you reported it Friday. It’s now the weekend, the devs are allowed time off. To expect a resolution over the weekend for your crash report isn’t realistic/reasonable hopefully someone will get back to you this week and they are able to get your save file back

Hi @fleet hare. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the loss of your save file. Losing progress can be incredibly frustrating and painful, especially when you've progressed far enough in the game. I completely understand your frustration! 🙇♀️

And it looks like you didn’t read my entire comment lol. Sure maybe MY report was from Friday. But there are NUMEROUS other people making reports up to a year ago, and it STILL hasn’t been fixed. You can be upset that I am trying to get eyes on this topic all you want, you can be upset until something happens to your game 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

There's a possibility your save file is corrupted, and if you get a prompt to recover your backup save file in the game, you can get your save file back. Some people have been able to recover their save file, and now the teams are still investigating for people who don't get the prompt. I will let you know as soon as we get some news from our teams 🙇♀️

Nope u get nothing but the shaft. Is classic fraud. U buy a game they know is broken and deletes you're save so you abandon it and by than you're past you're refund date. This game should be removed from xbox and they should be fined.
