I was sitting in the hot springs to get my stamina back.
That day I had done my watering, gone diving until I was almost out of energy, healed 2 coral sites, and I exited around 12:00 to run up to the hot springs. While there I tabbed out a few times but always resumed game while reading discord.
I am on Steam PC, version 1.0-945. I haven't tried to recreate it just yet.
Also tried to talk to Takeba but he is unable to be interacted with.

Started the day over, watered my plants, harvested my sugarcane and went to hot springs before I went diving and there was no crash.
