crash when moving torches with architect desk

1. after the crash when trying to load my game was fixed, when i went back into my game i wasn’t able to move torches using the pickaxe, so i went into the architect desk. when i tried to pick up a torch in the architect desk it crashed the game

2. tried twice and it happened both times

3. sorry i don’t know where to find the crash log on steam deck

For Steam Deck, please check 'compatdata' (file path: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata).

From there, you will see lots of folder with random number, Coral Island folder should be the one with code number '1158160'.

Enter that folder, into the pfx folder, then drive_c folder, then you can follow the file path here: Users<username>\AppData\Local\ProjectCoral\Saved\Crashes (the .xml file) to find the crash log 🙂

I'm also experiencing this, it crashed when i move it using architect's desk. I also can't remove the torches using any tool 😔

I'm having the exact same issue. The torches look different, I can't pickaxe them, and as soon as I touch them with the architect desk my game crashes.

I was also one the people who couldn't load my save due to the torch save file load crash.

You all did a great job fixing that, but yes this torch thing is still an issue in game 🤔

I'm also having this issue for Steam PC v1.0-945. I've had it crash every time I've tried to move the torches with the desk. The game freezes immediately after clicking the torch and remains frozen for about 30 seconds until it crashes.

I didn't have any previous issues with the torches before the recent updates.

Same here and I cannot remove the torches at all

I was told by devs that my previous corrupted hard crash save was caused by the torches!

so this new crash is likely related to them trying to fix that

Coral Island Version 1.0-945

Ever since the last update with the torches being less bright, I can't remove them once I place them. I've tried different tools and methods. I tried moving it through the architect desk and that caused the game to crash. Tried to reproduce that by loading up my save and going straight to the architect desk. As soon as I pick up the torch, it crashes so I'm pretty sure it's at 100% rate.
