Hello @lunar basin. Can you open your game now? Have you tried to verify the integrity of game files? You can do that by right-clicking Coral Island on Steam Library, clicking on Installed Files, then Verify Integrity of Game Files. Thanks! 😉

i've gotten this several times now as well and it is quite sad ;-; i'vce had to uninstall and reinstall so many times and its just becoming tedious. i adore this game and really want to play but this keeps happening

whenever i verify the integrity it will come up saying a file was missing and will be reacquired, but then it will come up with a disk write error

I am having the same issues right now. I am unistalling then trying to reinstall see if I got the exact issue like willow.

Also having the same issue after playing the game for a few hours about a week or two ago. I've had it happen before as well and I found that closing firefox was helpful the first time but that's no longer the case. I even moved some folders to my HDD to make space and it continues to crash before the game can load. I currently have the game downloaded on my SSD which is my primary hard drive for my computer

The integrity of the game files was always good. I was able to uninstall and reinstall the game without any issues. For now, I'm actually able to play again but I'll be keeping an eye out for the problem in the future just in case!

just happened now. It's been awhile but yeah it does still occur even with the latest patch

same thing when reverifying and hitting continue does not fix it. Goes in a loop like previous people with the issue all you can do is usually un-install and re-install til it fixes.

Force closing steam via task manager and re-trying via the manage downloads section does not work nor attempting to redo the verification on a separate closure and redo of steam.

Moving to another disk will not fix it either when you have this issue. I've tried all three of my drives being the two SSDs and the HHD in the clean re-installs so it is not an issue with my disks.

Clean re-installs usually do fix it sometimes it doesn't and you go into an un-install reinstall loop for awhile

til it clears

I would love for the team to figure this error out if it is possible it is the only game I have shipping issues occur in. It just randomly happens, not correlated to straight after fixes or patchs. Just common day use this randomly pops up

It's a bummer when you do in those loops for me at times it takes 30+ minutes in a single install just to try to boot it and have the same issue.

Also doesn't matter if it's on a storage device that is pretty near full or empty if that helps. No recent updates on any of my computer bits to possibly break it either if that would be even a thing for it to break in this fashion. If any other questions or possible helpful things to kinda diagnose it on my side occurs I still may type in here if it does help if not then just state so much appreciated ❤️

I got it again even after the clean reinstall last night when it did finish last night. It started up fine last night twice without actually playing on my save then just right now tried to open and got the issue again.
