This might not be helpful at all.. lol but got the same error message on my steam deck. I don’t want to lose my save file (yet) so I didn’t proceed. I did however try “play anyway” with my stardew valley save file, which prompted the same pop up and I was able to play my save file just fine. Idk I will probably try at some point with coral island but for now I’m going to stick with my original save file until I know someone else has been able to do it 🫶
