Hello! I've been playing Coral Island on my laptop since last summer. After the official game launch I started a new save with a new farm. Before today, I last played mid-December as life was a bit busy and I was taking a break from the game. Now that it's been a little over a month I just logged in today and I have lost quite a bit of progress. I think I was towards the end of the summer, and have been put back at the end of Spring Year 2. So, about a month of in game time was lost meaning for me: being set back to the water mine when I was on the third, a loss of about 30k in my hand and I believe 70k in assets. For example, I had my coop upgraded and owned a quail, at least three of my tools were silver, I had recently bought a horse, another building and overall I'm missing a lot of resources and Museum progress. If there is any way to recover my save from where I left off I would be incredibly grateful and relieved. Thank you for your time!

Are you on PC steam or PC gamepass? Those make autobackups and you could check and see if it managed to save your progress

Dang. So idk what happened exactly but my latest save is from December 6th. Steam says that I got the 10 heart achievement on the 15th of December. I was playing the game pretty much daily in December so uh. Don’t know what happened the save is gone from my laptop
Sure is weird hmmm, were you by any chance playing on offline mode and have steam cloud synchronisation on?
Nah, I always play online. If I get the notification that steam cloud sync isn't working atm I turn around
Actually, with the timing of the save and when I had last played I think the issue has something to do with a problem I was having with my laptop around mid-December. If the file is just gone, then that's the only thing I can connect to it

aww damn it, not sure if the devs would know anymore about it, could be a bug too if it's not a local problem as you mentioned? maybe give #1105382785826443264 a try?
