Hi sorry to bother you i know i'm late to the party, but i was a backer from the kickstarter, and when the alpha key fell i didn't have a steam account or a pc (just a mac for work), so i played on my brother's account. Now i do have one, and i'm wondering if it's possible to move the steam key to my account now? (Especially since brother moved out so i don't even have access to his pc anymore to play)...Is there anyways for me to have this or do i have to buy the game again ? If so, can i still use the key for the outfit that i think i did not use on my brother's account back then ?

From what I know keys once activated can't be transferred to another account.
However, you should be able to play it still via steam family sharing. But then I'm unsure of the interactions with the outfit keys in that case.
Otherwise, if you do buy a new copy of the game on your account, you can still activate your outfit keys if you've not used them yet.

Then you're in luck! The alpha key is separate from the main game entirely.

Early Access Key Information:
For Backers Only
Please input your backer email here: https://coral-island.backerkit.com/ and it will email you a link directly to your Digital Downloads (you do NOT need a backerkit account to do this). Note: If you purchased the game on console (i.e. PS, XBox, Switch), you will not be receiving an Early Access Key.
If your key is named Early Access Early Bird Streaming and/or Early Access Standard, these are your Early Access keys. Both keys link to the same exact game/steam product. There is no difference between the naming convention.
If you are expecting a key, and your Digital Downloads list isn't showing any Early Access keys at all, please email the team directly via email to support@stairwaygames.com.

yep i did and it's the key i tried to enter ^^°
maybe i didn't putthe alpha but the early access then, but i did it like one year ago

Hm. Then it may be that you were playing in the Early Access, not the Alpha, yeah.
I might get your brother to check his computer to see when the game says it last updated to be certain, but yeah, it looks like you'd have to buy the game again or use family sharing. But regardless of that, you can use the outfits and such with any steam account, as Aeri said

it's okay, i will contact my brother and see if we can do something about this family setup for steam if not, i will buy the game, it's fine i'm glad 'ive supported coral island anyways
