My game crashes back to homescreen just as soon as I trigger a cut scene in the ocean. Not the mermaid kingdom cutscene.. but the one after that. I am playing on xbox series S and on cloud.
It is a cutscene after one has access to golden seaweed.. but before the purple rarity shows us.
