Crash deleted my save file

I’m on xbox s and playing v1.0-943. I was in Year 2 Sunmer and just finished mining. I went home and was about to go to bed around :20. My game crashed so I lost the whole day collecting ore. But when I reopened the game, MY ENTIRE SAVE FILE WAS GONE. It only gives me the option to start an entire new game. I restarted my xbox because that’s crazy but it still wasn’t there. I checked in the “manage games” area of my xbox settings and I see my save file there. It just doesn’t show up in the game anymore.
