#Greenhouse help!

Strawberry is the most profitable for greenhouse, but it’s a bit risky to plant strawberry since there’s a possibility to become a giant crops, unless you plant it with sprinkle 1 I guess should be okay. You can plant any kind of crops that you want based on your goals or needs
But personally I grow variety of plants like melon, pineapple, fairy rose etc. and also I plant all fruit plants/seedling because those are only grow for 2 seasons and I prefer to have them alive forever so I don’t need to buy them every time haha
i have one of each fruit plant and fill the rest with coffee. the coffee processes so fast it’s nice to have a steady supply of it esp since it regrows every 2 days
i like to keep it simple in the greenhouse, stick to one main regrowing crop and keep a steady supply of the fruit plants. it’s the only place where i used osmium fertilizer since i only needed the one batch for my immortal coffee crop
Around the time I got the greenhouse I realized money was no longer a worry. So I figured there was wiggle room to do something fun - I split it into four sections, one per season.
I have cactus and strawberries. I use the the auto sfh with the strawberries though it brings a slight reduction in quality of the crops. On the other hand there is no problem with giant crops. Especially since I sometimes to check the greenhouse and the finished crops sit there for days.
Just a caution that even with autoSFH there is still a chance of giant crops!
In over a year in-game I never had a problem with it. Only when I removed it
I've been use my Green house tô grow the tree fruit. On the space not used I planted. Sugar carnes, becouse they tive me some money every day
I grow the fruit plants that look like trees since they die within two seasons the rest of the space is for cactus
Awesome info, thanks all!!! Now I wonder, what do you all do for a layout? Sprinkler 3? I am only level 7 farming so I’m getting frustrated with the way it won’t fit nice and orderly the 2’s. lol
it’s a 14x14 square so unfortunately there’s no easy sprinkler arrangement. i use 4 s3’s, but place them so they don’t overlap (overlapping sprinklers can get glitchy, esp if you want to use sprinkler attachments). this puts each s3 two rows/columns from the corner (and would water a fair amount of the greenhouse floor but there are no puddles so that’s nice)
The level threes don’t work much better in my opinion, either way you get overlapping sprinklers I would honestly stick with the twos if I did it again it’s a lot of resources for little satisfaction for level three sprinklers in the greenhouse
