I was playing through my game like normal. Everything was good. Went to sleep for the night started looking at how much money I made from my crops. I went to start my next day press the button and it crashed went to load back into my game. save data was gone. I have tried everything I can think of to recover my data nothing worked 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Can you tell me are you playing on Xbox Series S? If you have updated to the latest hotfix, you should get a prompt to recover your missing save file. However, you may lose a few more days because this is a backup file. If you didn't get a prompt, the teams are still investigating and working on it. I will inform you again if we have news from the teams. Once again, I'm truly sorry about this 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♀️ 🙇‍♀️

I didn’t get a prompt 😦 is there a way to invoke this prompt? Yes Xbox series S I just bought it a few days ago but I had just gotten to 49m deep diving I’m so crushed

Hi @dusk forge. We've released a recent hotfix to add the feature "show backup save files". Some people are able to get their save files back, but sadly there are still some who are missing. Don't worry, the teams are still working on it! 🙇‍♀️

Can you try to turn on the "show backup" option in the settings, then create a new game, and load back into the menu to see if the backup is the old save file you have? 😮

Good news girlfriend file was saved that way and she is playing it now yay!! But now a new issue has come up she can’t jump over fences when she is in closed in a field with fences and no gate she has to smash and rebuild the wall to get out 😂😅
