Hello, should I wait to leave my tools to copper? Or does it matter for the enchantment. Can they still be silver ect and keep an enchantment?

Base + bronze = 1 enchantment slot
Silver + gold= 2 slots
Osmium = 3 slots
The level of enchantment is based on how many giants are free. Purple being as high as you can go right now
